The opening game of the 2027 Ice Hockey World Cup in Germany is expected to take place in the Schalke football arena. This is reported by Bild on Saturday evening, according to SID information, the congress of the world association IIHF and the German Football League (DFL) still have to approve the project. The tournament started in the Gelsenkirchen stadium in 2010.
