Gelsenkirchen (dpa) – Second division soccer team FC Schalke 04 has signed defender Ibrahima Cissé for the coming season.
The 21-year-old central defender is moving from the U21s of KAA Gent from Belgium to the Ruhr area on a free transfer and has signed a contract until 2026. This was announced by the leader of the 2nd Bundesliga.
Cissé is a Malian youth international and also has French nationality.
