Fifth newcomer
SC Verl has strengthened itself with defensive player Torge Paetow (26) from SC Weiche Flensburg 08. This was reported by the third division team, who only just kept the class, on Friday. “Torge was last Flensburg’s captain and a top performer. We are very happy that he decided to join the sports club despite other offers. His passion and tackling skills on the pitch will do our game good,” said sporting director Sebastian Lange about the signing.
Paetow has been active in Flensburg since 2017, where he made 205 appearances (18 goals/20 assists) and his contract ends after this season. The defender is the fifth new signing for the coming season at SC Verl after Leon Bürger (22), Wladimir Wagner (20), Koray Dag (19) and Oliver Issa Schmitt (21).
