SC Magdeburg marches, 1. FC Kaiserslautern with difficulty

Leader 1. FC Magdeburg remains the undisputed leader in the 3rd division.

While the FCM won 4:2 (1:0) at the relegation candidates Würzburger Kickers, the pursuer 1. FC Kaiserslautern celebrated a hard-fought 2:1 (1:1) win against SC Verl. Eintracht Braunschweig came to a 2: 1 (1:0) against MSV Duisburg.

Baris Atik (22nd/50th) with his 16th and 17th goal of the season, Florian Kath (70th) and Jason Ceka (83rd) put Magdeburg on the road to victory in Würzburg. Tobias Kraulich (75th) and Marvin Pourie (85th) scored the goals for the Kickers.

Lauterer fell behind after a goal by Leandro Putaro (14th), Alexander Winkler (37th) equalized for the Red Devils. Marlon Ritter (77th) scored to make it 2-1 for the Palatinate.

Jomaine Consbruch (12th) and Lion Lauberbach (64th) were successful for Braunschweig, Tobias Fleckstein (90th + 1) only managed the connecting goal.

Huge deficit for 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Co

Magdeburg has now remained unbeaten 14 times in a row and is the clear leader with 64 points.

The gap to FCK is still 14 and to Braunschweig 16 points. However, both pursuers have completed one encounter less than the leader.

SV Meppen lost against VfL Osnabrück 0:1 (0:1). FSV Zwickau lost 1860 Munich 1:3 (1:0). Hallesche FC lost 1-2 (1-1) against Waldhof Mannheim. On Friday evening, Viktoria Köln was unable to get beyond a goalless draw against TSV Havelse.
