Bundesliga soccer club SC Freiburg will in future step up action against the illegal trade in tickets.

The people of Breisgau have therefore commissioned a sports law firm (Lentze Stopper) based in Munich and Berlin to take legal action against the ticket black market. For this purpose, comprehensive stadium controls are carried out on the day of the match.

All season tickets are completely sold out at the SCF, which is also represented internationally in the new season. According to the club, this has led to “unauthorized individuals, ticket dealers and secondary ticket market platforms trying to enrich themselves illegally.”

Affected tickets would be blocked without replacement in the future, and the seller would be excluded from future ticket purchases. In addition, the sellers are threatened with termination of membership in the association and/or the season ticket. The club advised fans who were unable to attend on the day of the match to use the official secondary ticket market.
