Johnny de Mol is being taken out of the screen now that Geert Wilders has pulled the plug out of the cabinet. Today’s men come back from vacation. “This is very painful.”
Angela de Jong jokingly wrote in her column last week that it would be a nightmares scenario if the cabinet were to fall while Johnny de Mol is still on a channel as a replacement for Hélène Hendriks in the Oranjezomer. After all, he is totally unable to make a journalism thorough program and interview party leaders, she thinks.
Johnny out
Apparently the SBS 6 leadership, and perhaps his own father John de Mol, agrees, because Johnny is being discharged hard now that Geert Wilders drops the cabinet. After a week and a half today, the men of today are already returning from their summer break to discuss this news: they are on a channel from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm tonight.
Well, not all men of VI: only Johan Derksen and Wilfred Genee are present. “René van der Gijp is currently enjoying the sun abroad and therefore cannot join,” the editors said.
‘This is painful’
TV authority Tina Nijkamp finds it painful for Johnny. “Whatever this says, painful enough: SBS 6 is not satisfied with the Oranjezomer. Question: Was this happening with Hélène as a host?” She writes on her analysis canal.
Probably not, says Tina. “For your information: two years ago the Oranjezomer was not replaced by VI on the day that the cabinet fell. At that time Hélène had, among others, Özcan Akyol and Jan Slagter.”
Eva also back
Not only the men of VI, but also Eva Jinek comes back from her summer break after one day off. Her replacement Hila Noorzai will just sit at 7 pm, of which Eva starts at 8.30 pm, immediately after the eight -hour news.
Striking, says Tina. “Actually I hate this. Wanting three months on vacation, but if something big does not happen to someone else, still wanting to be there. Why is Hila not good enough at 7 p.m.
“On top of the rest!”
The whole of NPO 1 actually consists of talk shows tonight, Luuk Iink notes. “Strangely enough, Hila is partly a competitor of Eva, who will make an extra broadcast. So on top of all the other talk shows.”
The AVROTROS editors of Hila and Eva are therefore going to compete with themselves and make two talk shows at the same time. First Hila from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then Eva from 8.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. ”
Too much
Is this too much? Luuk: “I think it is not complicated to predict where the best guests are tonight. Hila a little child of the bill. I mean that if the editors have to choose where that one top guest can be, they will probably go faster for Eva.”
For Sam Hagens and Welmoed Sijtsma, that long Eva special is not good either, Luuk thinks. “Because after Eva’s extra show they also come with their talk show !!”
