Blijdorp Zoo

Zoetermeer residents who have ever been to Diergaarde Blijdorp know it better than anyone: this is the zoo where you can easily spend a day. And if you go with children, that certainly applies to them too. You can spot elephants, monkeys and penguins here.

The Railway Museum

The Railway Museum is the nicest station in the country! There is plenty to do here, both indoors and outdoors. At Het Spoorwegmuseum you not only learn about the history of the train, you also take a look into the future. For example, you can take place in the so-called ‘hyperloop’: this vacuum train can reach speeds of more than 1,000 kilometers per hour in a tube without air pressure!
