Tygo Gernandt is furious about the rumors that he would have applied a little too vulgar with a very young lady. “If he did that with my daughter, I would put all the front teeth out of his mouth.”
The internet is full of it: The rumors that Thijs Römer would have digitally misbehaved against a very young Grietje. If the leaked chats are correct, he has sent extraordinarily inappropriate messages to a girl who is not even of age. Will it really be like that? The men of the online program Gossip wonder.
‘Really not possible’
Presenter Dennis Schouten explains what is going on. “Tygo came across a girl during the recordings (from a Jandino Asporaat film, ed.) In 2021 in Curaçao and that girl is 14 years old. Anyway, that didn’t matter that much for Tygo.”
“The girl was then of no harm that the things that Tygo said to her were fierce and really could not. She was then 14 and only wanted some tips from him. Now that she is of age, she sees that he really can’t.”
Teeth
Co-host Jan Roos thinks it is going too far. “If it is my daughter and he sends these kinds of messages, then I drive my car to Tygo and then I will take his whole preface out. If you send my 14-year-old daughter these kinds of messages, I will find you, I will look for you and kill your pre-teeth.”
To be heard, the gentlemen decide to call Tygo, and he also records. “We received messages that you would have had contacts with a girl of 14,” Dennis explains him.
“All nonsense”
Tygo denies the reporting. “That is all nonsense. That is a manipulated text and the lyrics have already been forwarded. We also have all that on Shownieuws and let everyone read, so that is all nonsense.”
He states that he has already spoken to the show sections of RTL 4 and SBS 6 and handed over evidence. “I will not comment on this at all. I have already answered this at Shownieuws and at RTL 4. A lot of things precede that.”
No current case
According to Tygo, there is no report of anything. “It is not about anything at all and there is no current affair, so that’s why.”
“There is no letter from where. It has been manipulated. If you want more information from, you can call my manager.”
And then he is angry on the phone …
