Satu Lipiäinen led the Helsinki City Marathon for a long time.

Familiar from the ultra -running side Satu Lipiäinen29, was at the top of the Helsinki City Marathon on Saturday.
Lipiäinen, who gave birth to his first -born child only four months ago, led the race about 41 kilometers. Only in the last kilometer Eira Rapp passed and won by 2.48.30.
Lipiäinen was second in the race and the time was 2.49.10.
– Good feelings. The intention was to leave moderately after a three -hour hare, but I didn’t see him and went relaxed hard. It was really easy to 37 kilometers, but after that I noticed that there was no good workout for a while and the legs were pretty minced, Lipiäinen said in SUL.
Lipiäinen also wanted to spare his legs for the half marathon he ran the same day.
Siilinjärvi -based Lipiäinen’s record for the marathon is 2.42.26.
At the Helsinki City Marathon in the women’s series, Lahti Ahkera ran third in the women’s series Petra Kilpeläinen.
The men’s race took the British Jack nixon (2.25,17) before ESBO IF Oscar Holmström (2.27,31) and Swedish Eric Berzell (2.31,14).
