Satu Taiveaho is moving back to Riihimäki

Former MP Satu Taiveaho has moved back to his hometown Riihimäki, reports Kouvola Sanomat.

– I want to be close to my parents who live in Riihimäki and be their help and support, Taiveaho told the newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Taiveaho was elected to the position of supervisory coordinator of the city of Hämeenlinna in June, but he left the job without taking it.

Taiveaho did not reveal which job he is moving to.

Taiveaho and her husband Ville Virtanen filed for divorce in June 2021. The couple got married in August 2020.

Iltalehti reported last July that the couple had already moved apart in March 2021. Virtanen stayed to live in Hamina, while Taiveaho and her foster children found a new home in Kuusankoski.

Taiveaho and Virtanen withdrew their divorce petition in September of last year.

Taiveaho was previously married to the current Minister of Defense Antti Kaikkonen with. The couple announced their separation in September 2018.
