Fenerbahçe Beko’s head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, who lost 92-82 to Zalgiris in the 34th week of the EuroLeague, made a statement at the press conference held after the match.
Stating that Zalgiris is the better side, the experienced coach said, “I am happy with the performance of my players. We were having trouble in terms of effort, but today we were good. We had a short training session yesterday. Today, the details put us in the background. We were not very good at details throughout the season. Today we saw that Zalgiris can make a strong attack. I also said in the locker room, we may lose, but we do not have a problem in terms of effort. Our opponent brought the victory with the points in which they are very good.” he said.
Emphasizing that the point that makes the difference in Zalgiris is that the players know their roles, Jasikevicius said, “We have come to the end of March and everyone in the team is looking for what they can do on the field.
