Sarkozy steps to European Human Rightshof after conviction in eavesdropping affair

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy went to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) against his conviction to three years in prison, one year of which effective, in a eavesdropping affair. The ECtHR has confirmed this to the French press agency AFP. The application at the ECtHR was submitted on March 20 and Wednesday, a spokesperson said.
