Sarah van Soelen undercover in Hazes documentary? ‘She is the coke knowledge’

Sarah van Soelen has been cut from the docuseries of André Hazes Jr. on high legs, but according to Yvonne Coldeweijer she is secretly still in it. “She is the coke knowledge.”

Actually, André Hazes Jr.’s new docuseries would also be full of images of his time with Sarah van Soelen, but this second-to-last ex-girlfriend of the folk singer has had himself cut out. A hard blow for the makers, because she played a crucial role in André’s life when he was admitted to a rehab clinic.

“It’s Sarasul!”

Yvonne Coldeweijer states that Sarah is still a bit in that docuseries. At one point André tells an anecdote about an acquaintance with whom he stayed awake for sixty hours and was on drink and drugs: “I remember that I had reached a point: if I just keep using it until my heart stops, because then everything is ready.”

Who is André talking about? Well, this is just Sarah, undercover. At least, that’s what hazologist Yvonne says. “The ‘knowledge’ that André spent three nights with with eight grams of coke, after which he thought he would not survive, is Sarasoul. The person who woke him up (and kicked him hard to the clinic) is Papasool.”

Why under cover?

Why is Sarah not mentioned by name? “He doesn’t want to name her because this is incriminating for her. Later when he calls her, he says he has lost contact with her “because of his recovery.” You learn in the clinic that you must immediately cut off all contact with users around you.”

André indicates in a documentary that his break with Sarah ‘didn’t go well’ with her. Yvonne: “She freaked out (this is still neatly worded) when he broke up in Spain. That’s why he never wants to see her again. If you’ve paid attention, everything I’ve brought has been confirmed in the documentary for a whole year.”

Been on coke for years

André’s coke addiction was not short-lived, Yvonne knows. “All the people around him know that he has been addicted to alcohol and coke for years. From the age of fifteen, this has been going on for more than ten years. Even Rachel catches him with a bag falling out of his sock, but it’s never talked about. Never.”

She continues: “No one ever forced him to kick the habit. Therefore no ‘masks’ in this documentary. Only masks are added. The only one who forced him to kick the habit is Papasool. André is grateful to him for his life. Not that André has ever contacted him again to thank him…”

“Is Soel still using?”

André ‘didn’t dare’ to say anything more, he says. Yvonne: “Papasoel even paid for the clinic for him.”

Why isn’t all of this mentioned in that documentary? “If they had let her in the documentary, there would be too many questions about Sarasul. After all, she claims that she has been clean for years. Lies about that too. Part of recovery is also being honest and open about having had a (month-long) relapse. Proves to me that she’s not there yet.”

“Whether Soel is still used is unknown to me at the moment…”
