Receiving planes at an airport should of course also be done at Christmas. And then it is nice if a handler takes a closer look at those circumstances. At Eindhoven Airport it was therefore none other than Santa Claus himself who received planes on Wednesday.

You probably know it from the movies or you may have even seen it in real life: marshalling. That’s what it’s called piloting an airplane to a certain place using hand gestures. This is often done with luminous sticks.

Santa Claus as marshaller
This is also the case at Eindhoven Airport – and on Wednesday morning, on Christmas Day, it was Santa Claus himself Marshall played. The aircraft received by handler Viggo is a Wizz Air Airbus.

It is unknown whether Santa Claus has also housed his reindeer at Eindhoven Airport.
