The first evening of the 2026 Sanremo Festival gives us a first partial ranking with the top five positions, but in random order. At the end of the show Carlo Conti, Laura Pausini and Can Yaman they have in fact revealed the five artists who received the most votes from the jury called into question on Tuesday 24 February.

On the first evening she was alone to vote the Jury of the Press Room, TV and Webwho expressed her opinion on the 30 singers competing. The journalists then voted, having already listened to the songs several times, in fact the first listening took place weeks ago and then they were able to listen to the competing songs again during the rehearsals of these days.

In the second evening a first half of the big names in the race and in the third eveningthat of Thursday 26 February, the second half. They will be the ones to vote the public through televoting (50%) and the Radio Jury (50%). Also in this case at the end of the evening only the five favorites will be revealed, but always in no particular order. In the fourth evening instead all the juries will vote, but only for the ranking of the covers and the duets (and the winner will be revealed), so it will not affect the competition for the unreleased songs presented at Sanremo 2026. The competition will start again Saturday 28 February with the finalwhen all the juries will vote again: Televoting (34%), the Press Room, TV and Web Jury (33%) and the Radio Jury (33%). You will obtain a general ranking of the competing songs made up of the voting results of the final evening and those of the previous evenings (i.e. first, second and third). Only the top five random positions will once again be revealed to the public. The five artists will perform again and all the juries will vote again, thus obtaining the final ranking, which will be made known to the public, and the name of the winner. For the last vote from home you can only vote once (by phone) and not three times as happens for other votes.
