Sanremo 2026 Achille Lauro will co-host the second evening with Conti and Pausini

With just under a month to go before the kick-off of Sanremo Festival 2026live from the Ariston Theater from Tuesday 24 February to Saturday 28 February 2026, the host and artistic director Carlo Conti is continuing with the surprise announcements on Tg1, slowly revealing his latest Sanremo, co-hosted together with Laura Pausini.

“Returning to Sanremo is always a great emotion and then with Carlo, after the splendid festival of the year, I couldn’t ask for anything better. Carlo is a master, I’ll be a step behind”, declared the 35-year-old in connection with Tg1.

The return to Ariston of Achille Lauro it will therefore be in the name of co-management, as has already happened in the past with other artists who, after having competed in the Sanremo competition, have also experienced the thrill of being on stage in a different guise, from Emma Brown in 2020 a Elodie the following year, passing through Marco Mengoni and Giorgia in 2024.

For Lauro it will in effect be the seventh participation in the Sanremo Festival afterwards racing debut in 2019 with Rolls Royce. In 2020 he returned to the race with I don’t careclosing the experience in eighth place and the following year he was a regular guest on the five evenings of the singing festival.

His last participation dates back to last year, when he presented in the competition Unconscious young peoplefinishing in seventh place in the final ranking.
