TOAnnounced in style for weeks now, Al Bano and Massimo Ranieri arrive tonight at San Remo 2023 in a pair performance never seen before. An already sensational event that will become even more unique with the addition of another music legend: Gianni Morandi. Despite almost 10 years of difference – Al Bano was born in 1943 while Ranieri in 1951 -, the two singers take their first steps in the world of music almost simultaneously. The golden uvula of Cellino San Marcolaunched as the new Claudio Villa, debuted in 1965 and performs around concerts with his friend Adriano Celentano. For Massimo Ranieri the debut instead takes place thanks to the foresight of a Neapolitan record company who, in the following years, will take it straight, at only 17 years old in 1967, in Sanremo with When I was a child. Up until the 1970s, he’d be churning out hits like Red roses, Pity those who love you And If the city burned down. Then, not even 30 years old, the decision to temporarily abandon music and devote himself to cinema and theatre.
Two different paths, same passion
While Massimo Ranieri dedicates himself to the theater and cinema, Al Bano churns out a disc a year and, always unlike the very reserved colleague, choose media exposure. TV programs, guests, newspaper covers, concerts around the world and a forge of songs, always together with Romina, which will make them the most loved pop couple of the Italian song.
In the meantime Ranieri plays in the theater for Giorgio Strehler and Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, but does not disdain comedy cheerful. The lost daughter and the found daughter
Beautiful and unconventional, Ylenia decides to travel the world from a very young age. Until in 1993, at the age of just 23, she disappeared a New Orleans, where she had gone to write a book about street artists and musicians. Testimonials speak of a girl seen throwing herself in Mississippi. But the body will never be found.

After years of fruitless investigations, in 2014 Ylenia was officially declared missing. Nonetheless, Mom Romina continues not to resignto “wait” for her daughter, as she also recently hinted on social media.
