The former Prime Minister of Finland and the former chairman of the SDP, Sanna Marin, arrived alone at Linna’s celebrations on Independence Day.

Dressed in a beautiful yellow evening dress, Marin shook hands with the President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and Dr. Jenni Haukiot with a smile on her face. However, Marin didn’t celebrate in the castle for long, because according to Iltalehti, he left the castle quickly after shaking hands.

A real estate agent known to the public Andrei Koivumäki unexpectedly published a joint photo with Marin on his Instagram account at Hotelli Kämp, where the continuation of Linna’s celebrations will be held this year as well.

In the picture, the real estate agent poses with Marin, holding a glass of champagne. According to the caption published by Koivumäki, the photo was taken by an artist and voice actor Rudi Rok.

Sanna Marin gave up her MP job in September to work for the Tony Blair Institute. Marin also left the Tampere council in October. Marin’s journey as prime minister ended in the spring.
