Sammer no longer an expert at BVB games?

Is there a risk of another dispute at BVB? This time it’s about Matthias Sammer and his job as a TV expert.
As an expert for the pay-TV provider Prime Video, Matthias Sammer will at least no longer accompany Borussia Dortmund games in the future. According to SID information, sports director Lars Ricken suggested this to the club’s external advisor following recent discussions about Sammer’s dual role. BVB did not want to officially comment on this when asked by SID on Monday.
After the Champions League defeat at FC Bologna (1:2) last week, Sammer criticized the team exceptionally harshly on TV. The BVB team is in a “physical and mental condition” and is neither capable of defense nor offense, said Sammer (read more about this here).
The following night, coach Nuri Şahin was informed of his dismissal, U19 coach Mike Tullberg took over as an interim solution and will also be on the bench against Shakhtar Donetsk at least on Wednesday.
