The afternoon program extends its hours during the summer holidays

Telecinco has again unexpectedly altered its summer programming. The chain has confirmed that it is withdrawing ‘It’s already eight o’clock’ in the evenings to give more space to ‘Sálvame‘. The program premieres ‘Save me Watermelon’ during the stretch from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday, from next July 4.

For this reason, the program presented by Sonsoles Ónega will say goodbye next Friday indefinitely. For now, the continuity of ‘It’s already eight o’clock’ nor his return for the coming course after more than half a year on the air without managing to stand up to Antenna 3.

In this way, ‘Sálvame’ recovers its five hours of continuous broadcast daily with a renewed version of the format. Since the cancellation of ‘Pass word’ in Telecinco it had been a substitute resource when there was no other project that stayed at that time. The ‘Banana’ and ‘Tomate’ edition changes fruit for the ‘Watermelon’ version, whose content will follow the program’s own style.

The change of grid arrives with the beginning of July, in which the course also ends ‘The Ana Rosa program’ to give way to ‘The summer program’, its usual substitute in the summer months.
