The Danish clothing group DK Company, which includes brands like Wood, Gestuz, Solid and Ichi, continued to grow in 2024. The group hopes to continue this trend in the current financial year, but is also faced with new challenges due to the election of the new US president.

DK Company generated sales of 725 million euros in 2024, compared to 644 million euros in 2023, as can be seen from a current message. This means that there are around 12.6 percent above the same period last year. The result before taxes (EBT) was 72 million euros compared to 65 million euros in 2023. This corresponds to a profit margin of ten percent for both years.

“In 2024 we continued our investments in future growth with a three -digit million amount, especially in the areas of IT, logistics and sales promotion,” said Jens Poulsen, CEO at DK Company. “Despite the challenging markets, this underlines the trust of the DK Company into the future.”

In addition to the innovations in the areas of IT and logistics, DK Company 2024 also dealt with late deliveries from the Far East and increased freight rates. The geopolitical turbulence that affected Europe, the persistent war in Ukraine and an inconsistent US dollar had also affected the group’s business.

Year characterized by significant growth, the integration of new IT and logistics systems as well as late deliveries from the Far East and increased freight rates. Internationally, geopolitical turbulence with a under pressure, the persistent war in Ukraine and a volatile US dollar have had a major impact on the business of the DK Company.

The new US President ensures sunken forecast security

In 2025, the choice of Donald Trump was particularly the new US president that the forecast security has “dropped significantly”, according to the Danish Ikast. The group is faced with potential customs restrictions and other problems with the US dollar course, since DK Company shops mainly in US dollars.

“We are still in a tense geopolitical situation that can affect consumers’ willingness to buy,” said Poulsen. “The DK Company delivers were at an appropriate price-performance ratio, and historically, we have crises in which the available funds of consumers come under pressure.”

For 2025, DK Company still wants to continue growth of 2024 and achieve an increase of ten percent in sales and EBT.
