Long-time chairman Timo Tersa has been charged with gross tax fraud, says General.
According to Yle, Tersa has denied the police that he had committed a crime.
Police suspect that a businessman has avoided paying taxes of around EUR 135,000. In the pre -trial report by YLE, the lawyer, the Tax Administration, sees that Tersa has received significant economic benefits.
Yle says in his story that Tersa is suspected of raising his owner of his own TT Rauta Oy for several hundred thousand euros over the years 2020 and 2021. Tersan is also suspected of giant without reporting these loans and their repayment to the taxpayer.
The prosecutor told Yle that Tersa’s case was likely to be dealt with in court in June.
Tersa is a former major owner of SaiPa. He served as chairman of the SaiPa government for a long time. He left his place in 2023.
