The Formula 1 season ends with the race on the Yas Marina circuit: the Spaniard on the second row with the third fastest time against the two McLarens who have the constructors’ title in hand
With Verstappen already world champion for a few weeks, there is still one title to be awarded in the last Grand Prix of the season in Abu Dhabi: McLaren leading by 21 points over Ferrari, forced to start with Leclerc from the last row. Norris and Piastri ahead of everyone, the Spaniard starting with the third fastest time. Let’s find out the prediction and odds for Sainz to win the Abu Dhabi GP scheduled for Sunday 8 December at 2pm.
SAINZ PREDICTION TO WIN GP ABU DHABI ODDS
—
Ferrari’s last hopes of winning the constructors’ world title despite being 21 points behind McLaren are all entrusted to Carlos Sainz, who in Abu Dhabi will start from the second row right behind Lando Norris (pole) and Oscar Piastri, the two drivers of the English house. Leclerc, penalized for the battery change, will start from the last spot after being eliminated in Q2 despite the best time: for him the Formula 1 VAR was merciless and the performance was canceled due to track limits. It is unlikely that the Monegasque will be able to reach the points zone and therefore all the weight of the challenge will be on the shoulders of Sainz who will find himself facing a wall: it is obvious that McLaren will manage its drivers to achieve success and consequently also the constructors’ title. Here is the prediction and odds for Sainz winning the Abu Dhabi GP: the Spaniard is in his last race with Ferrari before giving way to Lewis Hamilton and according to the bookies it is worth odds of 9.00 on Goldbet and Better Lottomatica, 8.50 on Gazzabet and 7 .50 on Sisal.
THE BUILDERS TITLE
—
Unlucky end to the season for Ferrari which was not assisted by good luck in the last two races, including a Sprint. The Maranello company was aiming for a double in Abu Dhabi to try to regain a title that has been missing since 2008, a season in which it also won the drivers’ championship with Raikkonen. The problems suffered by Leclerc in free practice (battery change and 10-place grid penalty) will force the Reds to hope for a miracle: victory for Sainz and best lap for Carlos himself can bring 26 points overall, so it seems difficult to close the gap by 21 points with two McLarens on the front row. The bookies’ thinking is very clear: McLaren’s success in the constructors’ championship is worth odds of 1.12 on Goldbet, 1.10 on Netbet and Netwin; triumph of Ferrari at odds of 6.00 on Netbet and Netwin, at 5.50 on Goldbet.
