Carlos Sainz He hopes his luck will change this weekend at the Miami GP, after his losing streak at the start of the season with Ferrari. However, and although it is an anecdote, the truth is that the Grand Prix has not started in the best way for the rider from Madrid, who at the end of the ‘track walk’ hit his head trying to go through one of the access doors from the track to the pit lane and has had to be addressed with a small gap at the height of the forehead.

Sainz did not lower his head enough when passing through the small opening that connects the track and the pit area and he took a good hit to the astonishment of those who were present. “Niente, niente” (“nothing, nothing”) assured Carlos to the group, downplaying the misfortune, but his companions realized that he was bleeding and called the doctor.

Fortunately, the incident has only been a scare, because Carlos is feeling well and ready to get in the car in a few hours for the first free practice session. Let’s hope that the rest of the weekend goes by without further trouble for the Ferrari driver.
