The singer, the 2003 tango queen Saija Tuupanen followed on the spot in the studio Dancing with the stars -semifinals.
– I have had the goal of coming here to watch dances for many years. Now I made it and I have a vacation, Tuupanen happily told Iltalehti in the warmth of TTK.
Tuupanen, who is preparing for his Christmas concerts, and comedian Sami Hedberg broke up in the spring of 2024.
Tupanen currently lives in a detached house by the lake in Jyväskylä.
– I am quite satisfied. I happily live with my dog, we have a wonderful time. No one lives there but us.

Tuupanen’s final year is full of work with gigs. Last summer was also busy when Tuupanen played Paula Koivuniemi in a song play A grown woman at the summer theater in Jyväskylä. The song play will continue next summer as well.
– I have wonderful memories. I get chills when I talk about it. It was an amazing experience, and I’m really happy that I got to do that role.
Tuupanen doesn’t rule out the idea that he would someday participate in TTK himself.
– I have always loved dancing. I’ve never had time to dance myself, as I’m always on stage. [TTK:hon osallistuminen] could be quite interesting.
