Lovers of a fresh dive can again go again with confidence in the Tynaarlo nature pool. A check has shown that the water quality is within the norm.

The last two weeks swimming was discouraged in the natural pool because too high concentration of blue -green algae had been found. Blue algae can, among other things, cause irritations to the eyes and skin.

The province had therefore placed warning signs at the nature pool. Those signs have since been removed. The Natuurbad is only accessible to the residents of Tynaarlo and its guests.

In four places in Emmen, the warning for blue -green algae is still in force. It is about the Kleine Rietplas and three locations of the large Rietplas: Pearl beach, Watersportstrand and the Rietstrand. There are warning signs at the water.
