The Sabu trading association announced on Thursday an impending change in the board of the Kornwestheim-based cooperative Sabu Schuh-Verbund eG.
Accordingly, the supervisory board appointed Simon Tölle to the board of directors with effect from January 1, 2024. He replaces Peter Werner, who, according to the association, will be leaving the committee at the end of December “at his own request” after more than twelve years. In the future, Tölle will form the board duo together with spokesman Ulrich Rau, according to a statement.
Tölle is “an experienced and very committed specialist” who “knows all topics relating to shoes from daily practice,” explained the group. The 46-year-old has been running the Schuh Tölle retail company, based in Rietberg near Bielefeld, since 2006.
