Sabina Särkkä talks about her and her partner’s first meeting in her Sieppi & Särkkä podcast.

Model and social media influencer Sabina Särkkä36, reveals Sieppi & Särkkä in his podcast, the beginning of his and his partner’s love story.
Särkkä says that they met three years ago in the Tuikku restaurant in Levi, the day before the New Year.
– It was also good luck because he didn’t have to go to Levi. That day, his friends bought him plane tickets to Levi. That’s why we met, he explains in the episode.
In the middle of the evening, Särkkä noticed a man with “a really great vintage-style overalls.” Särkkä decided to go to the man to compliment his outfit. The man thanked for the compliment and they started to talk. It turned out that the man was an acquaintance of Särkä’s friend.
Soon, the group moved to continue their celebration at Restaurant V’inkkari, where she continued talking with the man.
– The story continued so far that we went to our cottage and went to the disco a little more. After the disco, I went to my own cabin, Särkkä says.

Särkkä met with the man the very next day on New Year’s. The two went to see the rockets, and one of their friends ended up taking pictures of them.
The next day, the man returned to Helsinki, and Särkkä stayed with his friends in Levi for another week. However, the communication between Särkä and the man continued.
– We probably both thought that this is just such a wonderful Levi fling. Then we decided that we had to see it in Helsinki too. And it was good luck that we met in Levi, but we both lived in Helsinki.
– Then we drove back to Helsinki. Did we even see each other on the same day? But we still agreed on a date and were just honeymooning for the whole of January.
Sieppi suggests that it would be good to organize their possible wedding in Lapland on New Year’s. The proposal prompts Särkän to make a revelation about her and her partner’s first meeting.
– Then, on New Year’s in Ihku, he proposed to me. He proposed to me as a joke, Särkkä reveals.
Sieppi is confused by Särkä’s revelation.
– I was scared that you are engaged! That what has happened here. Don’t throw things like that here! Sieppi reacted with a shrieking laugh.

Särkkä has previously said that she is dating the Photographer. Särkkä told Iltalehte in the fall of 2023 that he would work with his spouse.
Last August, Särkkä said in his podcast that they don’t live together. Särkä owns an apartment in Kallio, Helsinki, and his spouse lives in Ullanlinna.
– He has a bigger room, and it’s a really good deal. I have a slightly smaller owner’s cabin that I am not ready to give up. Now is probably a bad market to sell a room anyway, the influencer explained.
However, according to Särkä, they mostly spend time with their spouses. According to Särkä, both of them work at home, so they would need a bigger apartment in the future, with their own offices for both.
– Sometimes it’s also wonderful to go to my own room and be there: “No one cares about anything, I can throw my rags on the ground, go under the covers and just be there,” the influencer stated.
