Survivors Finland Saana Akiola was crowned the winner of the tenth season of the program on Sunday evening. Akiola left Johor, Malaysia, 30,000 euros richer.
Akiola is now telling Iltalehti by phone what he plans to use the winning pot for.
– It’s been quite a year. I was injured in the spring, and I couldn’t work because of it. In the fall, when I finally got to work, I had to make up a lot of hours that I canceled last spring, says Akiola.
According to Akiola, the winning amount goes largely to living.
– I’m trying to take care of next year a little in advance and pay fees so that it makes it easier and brings a sense of security there, says Akiola.
Akiola, who injured her leg during dance practice in the spring, has stated that she does not want the same situation again.
– I prefer to use it in advance so that I can live a little more stress-free when the payments have been paid in advance.
Akiola won Survivors-final clearly. He received eight judges’ votes from the already eliminated contestants, and came in second Saana Boelius received one judge’s vote.
The experience was not only great but also mentally and physically heavy. After returning home, Akiola thought that he could not go to the same place again.
– But in retrospect, it was cool. I’m really grateful that you got there. Probably partly because it went so well and the memories are so good. I am grateful that I was invited there and that I could be there Laura’s with, Akiola concludes.
