According to the prosecutor’s office, on October 3, 2021, the airlines delayed a flight from Barnaul to Novosibirsk due to incorrect operation of the aircraft’s systems. At the same time, the company did not accommodate 28 passengers in the hotel.
The Novosibirsk and Barnaul transport prosecutors initiated seven cases under the article on the provision of services to the population in violation of the requirements established by law (Article 14.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Court rulings on the collection of fines have not yet entered into force.
In addition, the Novosibirsk prosecutor’s office began checking the provision of additional services to passengers due to the delay of 39 flights and the cancellation of eight flights from Krasnodar International Airport on January 23-24. Then air traffic was disrupted due to the weather.
