S.Oliver Group is bringing back the plus-size label Triangle

The Rottendorf-based clothing group S.Oliver Bernd Freier GmbH & Co. KG announced the restart of its Triangle brand on Tuesday. The plus-size label, which was initially discontinued in 2020, will return to the market after a repositioning that has now been completed, the company said.

According to its own statements, the S.Oliver Group had previously “sounded out the market for opportunities and areas of competence in order to find a new definition for the market beyond size 42”. Triangle will now be brought back to retail “with a clear attitude and strong product and fit expertise as a sign of appreciation for every woman, regardless of size, origin and figure”, according to a statement.

Carolin Wulfmeyer, who was in charge of the new brand concept in her function as Head of Triangle, explained the background: “We take diversity as a matter of course in our understanding of the brand. There isn’t just one Triangle customer. Every customer is unique,” she said in a statement. “Representing this diversity in sizes is a challenge that we gladly accept. With a key of trend, fit and quality, we want our fashion to give women a good, secure feeling and that they feel safe, visible and valued in it.”

According to the group, the Triangle collections will be available in sizes 44 to 54 in the S.Oliver online store and through wholesalers. The order start for the delivery dates August, September and October will take place from April 20th to 22nd in the showrooms in Sindelfingen, Hamburg and Düsseldorf, the company explained. In the future, ten delivery dates per year are planned.
