"Ryan Wellings killed me": British woman (23) takes her own life after an extreme case of intimate partner violence

An extreme case of intimate partner violence is rocking the United Kingdom. Kiena Dawes (23) took her own life two years ago because she could no longer cope with the mental and physical suffering. The woman had called the police five times, but she barely received any concrete help. In her suicide note, the victim wrote explicitly that “Ryan Wellings killed her.” Dawes’ relatives hoped that her boyfriend would be convicted of manslaughter, but jurors now opt for assault and psychological abuse. Wellings couldn’t contain a laugh after that statement and blew a kiss to his new girlfriend.
