Representative of Russia at negotiations with the United States in Geneva answered positively when asked about the chances of reaching any agreements with the United States.
“There are always chances,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
Earlier, Russia invited the United States to discuss security guarantees. Consultations on these proposals will take place on January 9-10 in Geneva, after which the NATO-Russia Council will meet in Brussels. Consultations will take place in Vienna at the OSCE site.
Earlier, a representative of the US administration announced a realistic attitude, but without much optimism.
