The Netherlands “strongly condemns the Russian attack on Ukraine” and is “in thoughts with the Ukrainian people” now that Russia has launched the attack on the neighboring country, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on Thursday. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has also said in an initial response that he strongly condemns the attack. The European Union, NATO and the United States are coming with heavy sanctions.
