You can of course decorate your bike with a flag, a bell, or you spray the two -wheeler in a cheerful color. But brothers Rutger and Guido Morée from Erm tackle it a little more extensively: they build a tandem ambulance.
Of course they don’t just do that. On Saturday 6 September, Rutger and Guido will participate in the Red Bull Stalen Ros in The Hague. A kind of on land, at sea and in the air. “We have to get to the bell as soon as possible,” explains Rutger.
In the past period, the brothers have worked hard to convert a tandem into an ambulance. Next week the last dots will be put on the i. But why an ambulance? “I work in the hospital at the Emergency Department and we were thinking about a design,” says Rutger. “We wanted to come up with something that nobody has.” “That worked,” concludes Guido.
