Russians in 2022 waiting for five new Hyundai

Korean Hyundai prepared five new products for Russia at once. And it will be three crossovers, one minivan and one electric car at once. The first novelty of the year will be the updated minivan Hyundai Staria. It is distinguished from its predecessor by smoother contours, a new grille and increased ground clearance.

In motion futuristic looking minivan will drive a 2.2-liter 177-horsepower engine with 430 Nm of torque. It is he who is registered in OTTS – approval of the type of vehicle. The engine will work with both a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. But with the definition of what kind of Staria it will be, there are still more questions. So far, the updated minivan has been certified only as an all-metal cargo van with a three-seat cab. Vans are still two-, five- and six-seater, and the minivan is designed for seven, nine or 11 seats. Whether the Staria will have a 3.5-liter engine with 249 “horses” is a question. Another important note: the minivan will have a drive only on the front axle.

Hyundai in 2022 decided to challenge two crossovers at once. Sports nameplates, exterior details and original interior trim will be endowed with Creta and Tucson in N Line versions. They promise a bold character, they will appear like snowdrops in the spring or at least in the first half of the year.

The next novelty from the Korean manufacturer will be a fully electrified crossover Hyundai Ioniq 5. Now on the Internet, the company is just wondering if a potential Russian consumer likes his slightly chopped brutal appearance. At first, an electric car with all-wheel drive will be sold only in specialized Moscow centers. So you won’t be able to immediately drive up to the front door on Ioniq 5. As for the car itself, the New Car Awards – 2021 are not given just like that!

And finally, the most luxurious novelty from Hyundai will be updated Palisade FL. The intervention of “facial surgeons” in the appearance of the premium Korean crossover led to the emergence of new, more massive bumpers, an increase in the relief of the hood and a change in the radiator grille.

What will be under the hood is not yet clear. The prices are also kept secret. It is known that the facelift Hyundai Palisade will appear towards the end of the year. Sales are tentatively scheduled to begin in October 2022.
