The first units of the Russian Armed Forces, which are to participate in the joint exercises “Allied Resolve”, arrived in Belarus. About it informs Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
“In accordance with the approved plan to check the response forces of the Union State, units from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to arrive on the territory of the Republic of Belarus,” the press service of the ministry said.
Troops will arrive from Russia throughout the first phase of the exercise, “given the fact that the check is sudden,” the agency explained.
After unloading, the units will move to the area of training tasks.
