Russian soldiers walk through the devastated Ukrainian ghost town of Pokrovsk

The Russian military has released images showing troops walking through the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk. The Russian ministry reports that it owns 70 percent of the city, but Ukraine disputes this. Russia also reports that it has control of the strategically important city of Kupyansk. This is also contradicted by the Ukrainian army. Russia and America are said to have been working on a 28-point plan for peace in Ukraine in recent weeks. President Zelensky’s country has not contributed to the plan, but says it is studying it. The Ukrainian president says he is open to a conversation with US President Donald Trump.
