Russian skaters will be welcome under certain conditions next season at qualifying competitions for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina. The international skating union ISU does impose conditions on their participation in competitions in figure skating, long track speed skating and short track speed skating. These also apply to athletes from Belarus, a country that supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
