Alla Pugacheva is the wife of Russian singer and TV presenter Maxim Galkin (46). He previously openly criticized the war in Ukraine, which meant that he was no longer allowed to work as a presenter. He is charged with “performing political activities on behalf of Ukraine and receiving Ukrainian funding”.
Since last week, he has been officially on the list of “foreign agents”, which has both financial and legal consequences. Pugacheva supports her husband and also asks for her to be included on that list. “I ask to be included in that list of my beloved country, as well as my husband, a true and incorruptible patriot. He only wants prosperity for his motherland, as well as peace and freedom of expression,” she wrote on social media.
“The Kremlin’s deceitful goals make our country a global pariah and make life extremely difficult for all Russian citizens,” the Russian pop star concluded.
