Russian missile wreaks havoc in Kiev residential area

Russian missile strikes again caused extensive damage in several places in Ukraine on Friday. Four rockets destroyed a hangar and a building at an airport near the western city of Lviv, not far from the Polish border. In one of the northern suburbs of Kiev, a five-storey apartment building largely collapsed on Friday morning after the impact of a Russian missile (see photos). The impact left one person dead, authorities said, and several injured. A school and a playground are also said to have been hit. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 222 people have been killed in Kiev alone, including 60 civilians and four children, authorities in the Ukrainian capital said on Friday. It’s numbers that NRC could not verify.
