In recent weeks, Russia has experienced perhaps its largest losses since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, except for the first few months. So says the British Ministry of Defence. The dead soldiers and mercenaries would be cremated non-stop in Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014, according to the Ukrainian army. Including in the crematorium of the town of Krazna Zorka, where a “constant row of military vehicles” is standing in front of the door. It is sometimes up to ten cars long. Ordinary citizens can no longer even be cremated there.
The fighting is currently most intense near Bahmut, in eastern Ukraine.
