The attack comes after kyiv forces regained ground in their counteroffensive.
Russia assured this Tuesday that its missile and artillery forces launch “massive” attacks against the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in all operational directions, including in the east and south.
High-precision airborne strikes hit the temporary deployment points of Ukrainian units from Sloviansk and Konstiantynivka, Bakhmut and Kurdyumivka, all locations in the Donetsk region, Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
He indicated that, in addition, they hit troops in Bereznehuvate and Murakhivka, in the southern region of Mykolaiv, as well as in Balabyne, in Zaporizhia, and in the city of Kharkov, in the east.
“As a result of the attacks, the daily losses of Ukrainian military and mercenaries exceeded 800 people between dead and wounded,” Konashenkov said.
Russia reports these attacks after Ukraine recaptured some 6,000 square kilometers of occupied territory and Russian troops withdrew from virtually the entire Kharkov region in the east of the country.
