According to Iltalehti, Vallila customers have had difficulties with e -commerce orders and related customer service, which has raised suspicions of Vallila’s financial difficulties and even bankruptcy among customers.
Vallila’s former parent company Manna Oy filed for bankruptcy in the spring, as a result of which Finlayson & Co was acquired by Vallila.
Based on the contacts received by Iltalehti, the responses of Vallila’s online store customer service have been delayed, and getting the money back from returned products has been slow.
Customers have also left the comments on the Vallila Interior Facebook page.
– They don’t answer Aspa. I got two ordered rugs late in different broadcasts, one customer comments.
– My Vallila’s client ends will finally end at the moment this saga has been made a proper decision, writes another angry customer who struggled with his order who says he has received the wrong product in the mail.
Vallila to overturn rumors
Iltalehti reached the operational director of Finlayson & Co Miia Silvastin comment on bankruptcy suspicions and customer service difficulties. According to him, bankruptcy rumors are “Lumia of the past winter”.
– After the spring mergers and acquisitions, our partner’s warehouse has had a major warehouse in early summer and has caused a lot of delivery delays, says Silvasti.
According to him, the company is aware of the delays in customer service. As a rule, customers ask where their package is.
– Of course, delivery delays cause a load on customer service and thereby delay there. That is, there has been an increase in the number of tiques due to the delivery delay.
Silvasti believes that the situation will return to normal soon.
– Our warehouse partner has already got a delivery delay to a normal level, and surely we will quickly get customer service up to date. It comes with a delay, but the root causes have been solved.
According to Silvast, Vallila is currently going as planned. For example, Retail distribution has been expanded to Finlayson stores. Products are also available from dealers such as Miniman and Prism.
