The Finnish men’s national volleyball team started the EC final tournament with a handsome 3–0 victory (25–19, 25–19, 25–22) over Croatia.

Finland’s head coach Joel Banks beamed after the match in Yle’s TV interview that the start was great, especially considering that there has been a lot of talk about the youth of the Finnish team.

On Thursday, Finland will face Bulgaria, which is one of the four host countries of the Games. There is a perfect horn pot in the knowledge.

– We expect an absolutely horrible and difficult atmosphere, Banks predicts in an interview with Yle.

In their opening match, Bulgaria lost to Spain 1–3.
