On Friday evening, Helsinki Jokerit took a firm hold on the final series of Mestis by defeating Imatra Ketterä with a clear score of 5–0.
The victory already moved the Helsinki team to a 3–0 lead in the match series, so the championship will be interrupted on Saturday in Lappeenranta.
The third final battle was already practically decided in the first set. The home team scored three goals in the opening set, when Oliver Sun, Teemu Henritius mixed Bruno Kallio hit a man once.
The game heated up in the second period. I’m agile Juho Hallikas poked after the game situation, the Jokerit keeper Wine Vehviläinen nuri, which raised a strong reaction from the Jokerit bench. The head coach Tomek Valtonen gave feedback to the jury, but no penalty was awarded for the situation.

Moments later, we saw the most talked about situation of the evening.
Jokers Ville Leskinen tackled Hallikka in front of the substitution fence, and the situation was taken to video inspection. The decision was tough: Leskinen sent off for a tackle on the head.
The solution aroused surprise, and based on the MTV Katsomo photo, the situation did not look like a clear exit. Also worked as Katsomo’s expert Juhamatti Aaltonen questioned the verdict.
– Something must happen, because what we saw, there is nothing in it. Its [Leskisen] gotta hit it [Hallikasta]when it lies down.
Supremacy didn’t go smoothly for Ketterä when Joker’s did Aleksi Mustonen moved the home team to a 4–0 lead with understrength.
He completed the final score of 5–0 in the final set Rasmus Lahnaviik.
The fourth final match starts on Saturday at 17:00. The match will exceptionally be played in Lappeenranta’s Kisapuisto.
