“Out of respect”: RTL strokes Laura Dahlmeier from Show

In the middle of the year Laura Dahlmeier died tragically. Now the TV broadcaster RTL reacted because of a show and took the Olympic champion out of the program.
An RTL game show, which was already recorded in the spring of 2025, becomes quietly memory of Laura Dahlmeier. The biathlon Olympic champion was originally part of the current episode of “three against one”. But after her tragic death in July, the broadcaster now waives the charisma of her scenes, reports the “picture”.
Dahlmeier died on July 28 on a mountain tour in the Karakorum Mountains in Pakistan. At around 5,700 meters, it was hit by a rockfall. Rescue attempts were unsuccessful.
In the recorded episode, she should compete against several celebrities in the first challenge. Koch Tim Mälzer as well as entertainer and streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla and moderator Jan Köppen were their opponents. Instead, a black and white photo of Dahlmeier appears at the Olympic Games.
