Take a plane for a flight time of 25 minutes? Real Madrid has done it again.
Real Madrid is once again causing astonishment – but not on the football pitch. On Saturday evening, the Royals will play in the league game at Real Valladolid (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online). Both cities are 214 kilometers apart.
If you took the team bus, it would take just under two and a half hours. The Real stars would even make it there by train in just over an hour.
And Real Madrid? They prefer to take the plane – flight time: 25 minutes. This is reported by the Spanish newspaper “Marca”. It is not the first time that Real has taken such a flight and caused controversy. Just two years ago, some fans were up in arms and expressed their incomprehension.
“It was a 15 minute flight – and then we’re talking about jerseys made from recycled materials. What the hell is that?” tweeted Spanish journalist Alvaro Romeo at the time. There has been no statement from the Spanish top club so far.
