Roxeanne Hazes went deep in the run-up to The Passion: ‘Losing your child, I try to feel it’

Dwingeloo is not a quiet Drenthe village these days, but the setting of one of the biggest television spectacles of the year. Where local residents normally walk across the village square, there are now stages, fences, light installations and cameras. About five thousand visitors are expected for The Passion on Thursday, more than twice as many as the number of residents.
