Roxeanne Hazes is being put through the wringer because of an old fragment in which she points Yves Berendse to the exit. “And you can sing, darling? Hahaha!”, for example.
Yves Berendse (32) is currently considered one of the biggest stars in our country, but his breakthrough took a long time. In 2015, he took part in the second season of the SBS 6 talent show Bloed, Zweet en Tranen, in which Roxeanne Hazes (33) was one of the jury members. After just one episode he had to leave the competition.
Not hit
Roxeanne was not convinced by the audition of Yves, who sang the Jeroen van der Boom song Werd De Tijd Maar Rev Draait. “I don’t think you touched me the way Ray (another candidate, ed.) did.”
She continued: “I think that’s the main reason, because you sing very beautifully and powerfully, but other than that, Ray still has a place in my heart and he won’t lose it.”
Rox denounced
